I Think in Animals

In this work, I  engage with sound, form, instrument and performance as a way to approach the state before objects are defined. I explore how sound and noise emerge before aesthetics. By focusing on the priori of things, objects, and materials, I aim towards the sensory immediacy between performer and audience, an experience that cannot be measured due to its ephemerality.

This work was presented as part of TERRA INCOGNITA, a collaboration between the Museum of Impossible Formsand Kontula Electronic, in Helsinki, Finland, in 2019. The project was curated and documented by Soko Hwang.
