This three-day event brought together live performances, an exhibition, lectures, poetry, and a hands-on workshop, focusing on contemporary live art and performance art practices. The programme explored how the body functions as a tactile and perceptual instrument, measuring, processing, and responding to information that arises through physical interaction with its environment.
At the core of the event was the relationship between performer and audience within shared space and time. The artists explores what comes during sensing, moving, and performing in public. The encounters unfolded as singular moments suspended between invitation and resistance, revealing how bodily experience continuously shapes the present moment. The event ultimately asked how the senses perform in public.
The programme included guest artworks by Nicola Fornoni (IT) and Kyros Papavassiliou (CY). Video works presented during the event featured contributions by Sadegh Aleahmad with The Only Poem I Know To Hold in Blenheim Palace, Marina Barsy Janer with DERMIS COMUNAL: Transmutación de una epistemología colonial, Cristiana Zeta Rolla with EMP(A)T(H)Y, Nika Lopez with ser.un.ser, Korallia Stergides in collaboration with Beckie Cove with Physical Literacy, and Julia Poplawska with Tension Documentation.
